Heidi Klum is a German actress born on the 1st of June, 1973. Erna Klum was her hairdresser's mother. Gunther Klum was an executive for a cosmetics corporation. Heidi's Dad was earlier as a supervisor of production for the company 4711. Heidi was raised in the birthplace in Bergisch Gladbach a city of around 100,000 people just 6 miles from Cologne. The former model from Germany, Heidi Klum is now an actor as well as a television host. A girlfriend (Karin) advised the teenager to join an German TV talent show known as Model 92. The German women's magazine Petra was the sponsor of this show in conjunction with Thomas Gottschalk's talk show. Klum was competing against over more than 25,000 contestants across Germany as well as Europe until she became one of three semifinalists. In the month of April, 1992, Klum won a top model prize worth $300,000.
