Aaliyah Dana Haaughton rose to prominence after the release of the album she dubbed Age Ain't Nothing But A Number in the year 1994. The album was Gold in the year she turned fifteen years old. It was made as a collaboration that was highly influenced by R. Kelly and it placed her in the spotlight. In 1996, Jermaine and Timbaland released Aaliyah's second album One In A Million. The album contained the single If Your Girls Only Knew, the most-sold single. The second album of Aaliyah entitled One in a Million came out in the year 1996. It contained the number-one song, a huge hit,"If Your Girl Only Knew. In 2000, she appeared in the romantic action movie Romeo Must Die alongside martial artists Jet-Li. She lives in Los Angeles where she continues acting as an actor.
