Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy SURESH (born 17th October, 1992) is an acclaimed Indian actor. Keerthy appears in Tamil films as well as Telugu films as well as a couple of Malayalam. The actress was honoured with the National Film Award as Best Actress in 2018 for her portrayal of actress Savitri which was in the Telugu movie Mahanati. She also won an award from the Filmfare Award South and three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy is the daughter of producer G. Suresh Kumar and actress Menaka G. Suresh. She began her career as a child actress during the 2000s, and later was back in films following her studies of fashion design. She had her first lead role in 2013's Malayalam film Geethaanjali. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy signed her first Tamil projects in 2015 and began accepting projects out of Malayalam. In 2015, she released A. A. Vijay's romantic comedies Idhu Enna Maayam and Vikramprabhu against one another. The films did not do well in cinemas. Her busy schedule throughout 2015 resulted in her having choose to stay out of movies that she was working on, including Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye and Deekay's Kavalai Vendam, in order to make room for larger projects. The result was that she worked on two films with Sivakarthikeyan quickly, Rajini Murugan and Remo and also played the leading character for Prabhu Solomon's Thodari along with Dhanush.Her Telugu debut was planned to be Ainaa Ishtam Nuvvu. Although the release date of Janakitho Nenu is not yet confirmed, there is speculation that it could release sometime in September of 2020. Subsequently, the premiere was in the film Nenu Sailaja featuring actress Ram Pothineni. In January 2017, Keerthy appeared in Bairavaa, opposite actor Vijay and produced by Bharathan.
